On Saturday the 05th September Margate will be having a Centenary Spring Parade.  We want to showcase the diversity of our local community in a vast array of creative forms in an energetic, lively and colourful celebration of our town’s history and its people.

We are inviting Schools, Church Groups, Community Services, Choirs, Sports Clubs, Dancing Groups, Cheer Leading Squads, Theatrical Groups, Bands, Car & Bike Clubs, Drum Majorettes and Entertainers to participate. Contributions to the event may include floats, puppets, costumes, musical instruments, choreographed movement, musical performances, show cars and bikes and is for young and old alike.

Undoubtedly, the 1st prize will go to the most creative, brightly coloured, float.
Why not get your company to get team building in more than one way. We are looking for the float that best illustrates 100 Years of Fun… and we want you to have fun doing it.

Over R 20 000.00 in Cash Prizes. Prizes will go to:
